What platforms do you design for?
I currently only work with WordPress self-hosted websites for full blog redesign and installation. I will design custom logos only (no installation) for any platform of your choosing.

Do you have a wait list for design clients?
I do. I am typically booked 1-2 months out, as I only take on a few clients per month to give my full attention to each redesign. I am currently booking for September 2016.
What is the turnaround time for designs?
This varies for each project, but generally custom blog designs take anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on the project scope. I am also willing to work at any pace you would like. I do not like to rush design projects, but if you need something done quickly, contact me to see what I might be able to accommodate.
How does payment work?
A deposit of $25 is due at the time you request a custom design so you can reserve your place on my wait list. The deposit goes toward the total cost of your redesign. Design payment is due once the design is completely finished. I accept payment via PayPal.
Do you have a contract?
Yes I do! In an effort to protect you (and us), each client is sent a contract tailored to his or her project to read, agree to, and sign before any work begins.
I have no idea what I want for a design. Can you help me?
Absolutely! There are many designs to choose from, so I know it can be overwhelming at times! I give all my custom design clients a very detailed survey to determine what you are hoping for in your design. I walk you through the whole process, providing many different options if you’re in the boat of “I don’t know what I want!” Even if you don’t know exactly what you want it to look like, the design always comes together into something you’re sure to love.
What if I don’t like my design?
I’ll start by saying that this has never happened because of the nature of the design process. We work together to create something you absolutely love. A design is not finished until it’s perfect and exactly what you envisioned.
I already have a general design/theme I like. Can you just design a custom logo for me?
Yes! I’d be more than happy to.
What if I don’t have a blog?
No worries! I would love to help you get started! See my a la carte design items page for information on services I offer to help you get going.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of blog design (non-tangible digital goods), it is not possible to “return” the product and ensure that the product is no longer used. I do not offer refunds after a purchase has been made, as a safeguard to prevent unauthorized use of our themes and designs. If you are truly unhappy with a design for any reason, we will work together to find a solution you are happy with.
What is your price structure for photo shoots?
I currently offer mini sessions for $65 (30 minutes), full sessions for $125 (90 minutes), small events like birthdays (2 hours) for $225, and wedding start at $850 for up to four hours of shooting. You can read more about these photo packages here.

Do I get to pick my own photos?
For engagement and wedding photo packages, I provide an online service for you to pick poses you like and images to be edited before editing begins. For mini and full sessions or events, I choose the best photos and edit accordingly since there are less photos to choose from with these smaller packages.
Do we get all the photos you take?
No. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that are not “frame worthy.” I save you time by going through hundreds of photos and deliver the best possible ones.
Do we get a full image release or copyright release?
A full image release – non-watermarked images that you can print anywhere – is included with every package. I want you to fully enjoy your photos however you wish. Photos are always copyrighted to me, the original author and copyright credit is not transferred.
How are my photos delivered?
I currently use a private online photo album tool that is emailed directly to you. You are able to favorite images if you are picking poses from an engagement or wedding session or share this album with friends. This album allows for high quality image download of all your images.
For weddings or large photo collections, images are delivered face-to-face via a flash drive for you to keep.
How do you edit photos? Can I request specific photo edits?
My editing style is what I would call minimal and “vintage.” I like to brighten photos to give the most light and warmth but generally like to keep photos looking as natural as possible.
If you have any specific edits you would like, we can discuss this before and after your shoot to ensure you get photos you love. Any photos can be made into black and white, have filters, special focuses, and lettering added.
Can I request something specific for my shoot, like poses or to bring my dog?
Yes! I would be more than happy to have a pre-shooting meeting with you via email or in person to discuss poses, what to wear, location options, time of day, etc.
I love bringing pets into family shoots too. The more (and the furrier) the merrier!
I want to shoot in a really rocky/remote/possibly dangerous location. Will you go there?
If we don’t need a permit to shoot there, then yes! I am more than happy to throw on my hiking boots to get an awesome backdrop.
Do you do newborns, babies, children, weddings, couples, engagements, birthday parties, smash cakes, or other types of photography?
If I can photograph it, then yes! I am happy to do any type of photography for you.
Where do you travel to?
I currently live in Oahu, Hawaii. I will travel anywhere in Oahu for a photo shoot. I am available for travel anywhere in the Hawaiian Islands region for travel costs.
I have family in the Nashville, TN area and Colorado, which I sometimes travel to. I would be more than happy to meet up with you in those states should you happen to be there.
What payment do you accept?
I accept cash or check at the time of the photo shoot. For weddings and events, I require a deposit beforehand that is good toward the cost of your photo package.
Do you have a second shooter?
Not at this time, but I hope to offer this in the near feature.
I want photos taken but am not photogenic/don’t like being photographed. Can you help me?
Yes! I know how nerve-wracking it can be to be in front of the camera sometimes. My goal as your photographer is to make you as comfortable as possible and provide direction for you for what not only looks natural but best.
Do you provide prints or albums?
I do not have the resources for printing services at this time. I do offer album set up via Shutterfly or another album service of your choice for an additional $25 plus the cost of the album.
